One of the traditions here at Edwards Center is the Christmas Wishlist. Every year, staff put together a list of our residents who no longer have family around them and a group of very dedicated people supply the items to meet the wishlist. We also create a list of items wanted for our community living programs and the resident houses. This year more than 28 people answered the call providing things like dishes, pots and pans, waffle irons for the houses; tickets for outings for the community living programs; and clothing, DVDs, and self-care items for some of our residents.
We truly appreciate all of those who donate to the Wishlist and make it possible for so many participants to experience Christmas joy and to find family connection here at Edwards Center.
