Edwards Center offers day support services that provide alternatives to employment for people who are retired or who simply want to stay socially connected to their peers. During the day, staff lead group activities that promote continuing education and social stimulation. It may include community outings, social skill building and therapies.
FAQ's for day services:
- What does it cost to participate? Medicaid pays for the cost of care. Private pay is also accepted
- Is there a waitlist? We look for goodness of fit and therefore do not keep a "traditional" waitlist. We keep an "interested parties" list. If we do not have an opening, we encourage people to get involved in our other services.
